Youth work
2026
Threshold Youth Club meets on Friday evenings at Welton Methodist Hall - one session for 11 to 14 year olds, another for 15 to 18 year olds. Toast and hot chocolate, pool, table tennis, music and a chill zone, followed by half an hour of reflection and conversation. The club had the welcome sorted. What it needed was a way to get young people through the door in the first place.
We designed a print set built for exactly that job: posters for the hall, a pavement A-board for club nights, a window display, and branded cups and wristbands. Every piece carries a QR code that goes straight to the sign-up form. See more of our print design and our branding for charities. There is more in our guide to charity branding on a small budget.
The identity borrows from what teenagers already carry around - graph paper, highlighter pen, torn edges and biro doodles. Nothing corporate, nothing polished, nothing that looks like it was designed by an adult trying to sound young. Marker-pen headlines and blocks of blue, green, yellow and red keep it legible from across a car park, and photographs of real sessions do the reassuring.
The same kit stretches from an A4 poster down to a wristband. The small pieces matter more than they sound - a cup on a Friday night and a wristband that turns up at school on Monday are how the next conversation starts.
Threshold now has a complete set of print it can reuse each term - posters, A-board, window display, cups and wristbands - all drawn from one identity and all pointing at the same sign-up form. It gives a small Friday-night club the presence of something far bigger.
If your charity or community group needs print that works as hard as your team does, we’d love to help. Take a look at how we approach graphic design and branding, or get in touch for a chat.
